Position Overview

The Zoning Compliance Analyst plays a crucial role within the Zoning department, collaborating with municipal employees nationwide to verify zoning classifications, jurisdictions, and compliance. This role demands exceptional multitasking abilities, organizational skills, and the capacity to maintain effective communication with municipal contacts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct various zoning report types, including standard zoning reports, renewal reports, and document retrievals.
  • Access and analyze zoning codes from public databases.
  • Engage with municipal zoning departments via phone and email to confirm property statuses.
  • Examine municipal documents for accuracy and completeness regarding the property in question.
  • Prepare five Zoning Compliance Reports weekly by assessing property conformity.
  • Monitor results and respond to client inquiries using proprietary systems.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills commensurate with responsibilities.
  • Self-motivated with a solutions-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in commercial real estate or zoning analysis.

Working Conditions

This position is office-based and eligible for telework, with some travel required.
