About the Job

At SOAR Consulting, we are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and repair services to our clients in the machine tool industry.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering to join our team as a Field Service Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex technical problems on industrial machine tool products, as well as providing technical support and training to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair Complex Technical Problems: Use your technical expertise to diagnose and repair complex technical problems on industrial machine tool products.
  • Provide Technical Support and Training: Provide technical support and training to our clients on the use and maintenance of our products.
  • Travel to Client Sites: Travel to client sites to provide technical support and repair services.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure that our clients receive the best possible support and service.
Requirements
  • 2-Year Electronic or Technical Degree: A 2-year electronic or technical degree is required for this role.
  • 2-5 Years of Field Service Experience: 2-5 years of field service experience in the machine tool industry is preferred.
  • Strong Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, including mechanical and electrical engineering, are required for this role.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required for this role.
