Position Overview:
As a Field Engineer at Carrier, you will play a vital role in the implementation and optimization of advanced building automation systems tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual who prioritizes customer satisfaction and is committed to delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate, install, and troubleshoot advanced Direct Digital Control systems.
- Act as the primary technical contact for clients, addressing and resolving complex system issues.
- Deliver comprehensive project management for small to medium-scale projects.
- Ensure the proper functioning of systems, including controls, sensors, and software components.
- Load software, configure trends, alarms, and generate reports.
- Employ effective time management strategies to enhance customer experience.
- Document project status and communicate updates to clients.
- Provide tailored training to system operators on the complete functionality of their systems.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Building Automation, HVAC, or a related technical field.
- Ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Driver's License with insurability by company standards.
Preferred Skills:
- Willingness to travel up to 35% of the time.
- Educational background in HVAC, Controls, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with building automation software and systems integration.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networks and wireless technologies.
- Proficient in using electrical multi-meters and understanding HVAC systems.
