Job Overview:

We are in search of a committed Field Service Technician who will be instrumental in the installation and upkeep of our internet services. This role is perfect for individuals who are self-driven, capable of working independently, and can manage all facets of the job from initiation to completion. While prior industry experience is not mandatory, candidates with relevant installation experience or certifications will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute solo installations for residential clients and Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs).
  • Install, maintain, and upgrade wireless internet systems for both residential and commercial clients.
  • Route cables and wiring on building exteriors while ensuring a tidy and unobtrusive appearance.
  • Safely and efficiently operate various power and hand tools for installation and maintenance tasks.
  • Diagnose and resolve networking issues to guarantee a dependable internet connection for clients.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining services, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Maintain precise records of installations, repairs, and service requests.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Ensure that installations adhere to DigitalC's quality and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with team members as necessary to support larger installations and meet operational demands.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical or vocational certification is advantageous.
  • No prior industry experience is required, but candidates with installation, cabling, or networking experience will be strongly considered.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage all aspects of the role.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Comfortable using ladders up to 30 feet for individual installations.
  • Comfortable using ladders up to 40 feet for team installations.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
