Position Overview
As the Deputy Lead for the Power and Propulsion Element (PPE) within the Systems Engineering and Integration (SEI) team at the John Glenn Research Center, you will play a pivotal role in guiding a diverse group of professionals in the technical oversight and strategic direction of the PPE spacecraft development.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multi-center team to ensure effective systems engineering practices are applied throughout the PPE spacecraft development lifecycle.
- Support the SEI lead in managing the integrated engineering efforts, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Oversee the creation and refinement of engineering deliverables, ensuring they meet the necessary standards for submission to the Gateway.
- Conduct regular assessments of the systems engineering processes employed by contractors, ensuring adherence to quality and performance metrics.
- Maintain vigilance regarding any challenges encountered during hardware and software integration phases, facilitating timely resolutions.
- Act as a liaison between the PPE and Gateway teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Uphold a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and excellence within the team, promoting NASA's commitment to diversity and teamwork.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a strong background in aerospace engineering, with specialized experience in systems engineering tools and methodologies.
