Supervises:

Shift Leads, Cashiers, Cashier/Barista, Host/Cashiers, Dining Room Attendants, Inventory Clerks, and Restaurant Servers.

Job Overview:

Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts to ensure an enjoyable dining and beverage experience that guarantees guest satisfaction. The individual in this role is expected to maintain a positive demeanor and a welcoming attitude towards all guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to applicable Tribal, Federal, and other laws, as well as gaming regulations and internal policies.
  • Uphold the highest standards of guest service by attentively addressing guest and team member inquiries and concerns.
  • Manage daily activities, including planning, assigning, and delegating responsibilities among restaurant front-line team members.
  • Assist in the annual evaluation of team member performance, scheduling, and administrative tasks as directed.
  • Track inventory for the cigarette vending machine program.
  • Support the correction and/or approval of time cards.
  • Regularly check on guests to ensure their service needs are met.
  • Responsible for serving requested food and beverages to guests while ensuring adequate supply levels.
  • Maintain proper stock levels across all venues.
  • Ensure adequate staffing to meet guest satisfaction.
  • Assist in training front-of-house personnel.
  • Cover shifts when team members are unable to report for duty.
  • As a cash handling team member, adhere to all cashier/bartender responsibilities, including managing cash till operations.
  • Provide coverage for breaks for all front-of-house team members as needed.
  • Assist in cleaning and stocking all outlets, maintaining cleanliness of tables and beverage service stations.
  • Ensure front-of-house areas are swept, mopped, sanitized, and that all equipment is clean and organized.
  • Check that all bars are clean and items are in their designated places when necessary.
  • Assist with the receipt and storage of products upon delivery.
  • Manage the checkout of keys for opening and closing bars.
  • Handle the checkout of cigarette keys for vending machines as required.
  • Ensure all areas are cleaned and sanitized before the end of each shift.
  • Maintain and enforce health department guidelines and sanitation practices.
  • Address guest issues promptly and professionally, communicating problems and concerns to department managers.
  • Demonstrate and promote core values and essential skills.
  • Safeguard confidential information entrusted to this position.
  • Complete all required training as assigned.
  • Monitor compliance with Federal currency transaction reporting requirements and established Anti-Money Laundering policies. Maintain accurate records as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must obtain and maintain a current TABC (seller/server) Certification.
  • One (1) year of experience in restaurant and beverage operations preferred.
  • Experience in cash handling preferred.
  • Gaming industry experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plus.
Additional Criteria:

Preference is given to qualified members of the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas and other qualified Native Americans.

Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, climb, and bend for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; talk and listen.
  • Must be able to concentrate for prolonged periods.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
  • Effective communication skills are essential.
  • Must possess hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for operating various equipment.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
Work Environment:
  • Work is performed on the casino floor, in back-of-house areas, and in a standard office setting.
  • Frequent walking and standing in a smoke-filled environment with regular public interaction.
  • Temperature-controlled environment with varying noise levels; may be exposed to high noise levels throughout the day.
  • Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to perform under pressure and work long hours in stressful conditions.
  • May encounter risks associated with resolving issues with difficult guests and irate staff members.
  • Exposure to various lighting conditions, including artificial and flashing lights.
  • Travel may be necessary to fulfill essential job functions.
Employment Conditions:
  • Must obtain and retain a KTTT Gaming Commission License, including successful completion of a background check.
  • Must provide authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Reliable transportation is required for commuting to and from work.
  • Must comply with internal policies and gaming regulations.
