About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive III-Merchant Regional to join our team at Fidelity Information Services. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to sell our merchant services to small and medium-sized businesses in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies for selling merchant services to small and medium-sized businesses
  • Identify new prospects and revenue opportunities through referrals, lead lists, and self-sourcing
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our products, value-added services, and pricing models to recommend additional services to merchants
  • Utilize available resources to ensure merchants are properly set up on our system, processing transactions, and are initially billed according to agreement
  • Respond promptly to prospect inquiries and requests, and prepare proposals, letters, and presentations using our resources
  • Provide regular reports and updates to your manager on prospect status, revenue, and deal count achievement
  • Act as a resource to other sales representatives with less experience or in new markets

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of proven business-to-business sales success and relationship expertise
  • Expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Solid decision-making and problem-solving skills, as well as analytical skills to determine client business requirements
  • Ability to remain calm under various levels of pressure

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Banking experience
  • Merchant sales experience
