Job Title: Merchant Services Sales Account Executive

NewtekOne, a leading financial holding company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our Merchant Services team. As a Merchant Services Sales Account Executive, you will be responsible for growing sales and expanding our customer base by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and qualify new business leads through various networking techniques, including cold calls, emails, and social engagement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to expand our customer base and increase sales.
  • Research and analyze potential clients' businesses to determine the best product and solution for their needs.
  • Educate clients on our products and services, and navigate them towards the most suitable solutions.
  • Manage a pipeline of prospects to qualify potential leads and move qualified leads through the sales funnel.
  • Prepare client proposals using pricing within set guidelines.
  • Self-source leads when necessary.
  • Commit to departmental and individual quotas/goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with outside sales and marketing teams.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 3 years of related business-to-business experience, preferably in the credit card industry.
  • Passion for sales, with experience prospecting and closing sales over the phone.
  • Prior experience with payment processing products and solutions.
  • Experience in business development/lead generation sales and marketing preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the credit card industry a plus.
  • Passion for sales and technology, with experience prospecting and closing inside/outside sales.
  • Demonstrate tenacity to overcome barriers using consultative selling methods.
  • Strong organizational, follow-up, and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent listening skills and ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections.
  • Must possess a professional and friendly attitude and be able to quickly develop a rapport with customers over the phone.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Must possess and be able to demonstrate strong influencing and closing skills.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Resourceful with the ability to learn new products, services, and processes quickly.
  • Must be self-motivated, persuasive, tenacious, and extremely results-driven.
  • Exudes confidence, charisma, and professionalism.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed.
  • Competent computer skills.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range: $45,000 - $65,000 per year.
