Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to become a vital part of our team in the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent analytical abilities, and a passion for numbers. This role encompasses a range of accounting responsibilities, including payroll management, journal entry postings, general ledger oversight, accounts payable processing, and financial report analysis. Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver detailed financial updates to senior leadership by assessing, analyzing, and reporting relevant data.
2. Oversee cost analysis by establishing and enforcing policies, providing forecasts, and recommending actions.
3. Enhance financial performance by analyzing results, monitoring discrepancies, identifying trends, and advising management.
4. Assist in managing the general ledger, including monthly and year-end closing processes.
5. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in accounts payable and reconciliations.
6. Manage payroll processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
7. Record journal entries and maintain accurate transaction records.
8. Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making.
9. Utilize Excel for various financial reporting and data analysis tasks.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
2. At least 5 years of experience in accounting or a similar field.
3. Proficient in payroll systems, journal entry postings, general ledger management, and accounts payable.
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate reports.
5. Advanced proficiency in Excel is essential.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
9. Experience in the manufacturing sector is advantageous.
