Job Overview

Role Summary:

We are on the lookout for a meticulous and experienced Lead Financial Accountant to enhance our finance team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in upholding financial integrity, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and supporting the overall fiscal well-being of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile and evaluate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
    • Create comprehensive financial documents for executive assessment.
    • Guarantee compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
    • Collaborate with department heads to formulate and oversee annual budgets.
    • Deliver financial analysis to aid in strategic decision-making.
    • Assist in crafting financial projections.
    • Manage general ledger entries and reconciliations.
    • Oversee accounts payable processes and 1099 filings.
    • Maintain precise and thorough financial documentation.
    • Ensure prompt and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities.
    • Stay updated on evolving accounting regulations and standards.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal reporting obligations.
    • Support the coordination of external audits.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience is essential.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite Software is required.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and financial analysis is necessary.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP) are a must.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and capability to meet stringent deadlines.
