Job Overview:

Staffing Fish LLC is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to oversee the financial operations of our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with previous experience managing a team. The Financial Manager will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all financial processes, as well as providing financial guidance and support to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the financial department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data, prepare financial reports, and present findings to senior management.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
  • Manage the preparation and review of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Supervise and mentor financial staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions, including payments, invoices, and payroll
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial processes and increase efficiency
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in financial regulations and standards
Required Qualifications:
  • At least 7+ years of accounting experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • ASC 842 experience is highly sought by not required
  • At least 3 +plus years of audit experience working hands-on with outside firms.
  • 3+ years of building and managing teams in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Direct experience performing detailed and data-intensive reconciliations.
  • Strong technical accounting skills with a keen understanding of GAAP regulations and compliance.
  • Organized, detailed, proactive, self-motivated, collaborative, multi-tasker, and creative.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and lead a team to success.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads and ensure tasks are completed timely.
  • High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
