Senior Vice President of Compliance and Risk Management

The Senior Vice President of Compliance and Risk Management is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive compliance program at Erickson Senior Living. This role encompasses the development and implementation of policies and procedures, education and training initiatives, compliance reporting, auditing, and monitoring activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop an annual Corporate Compliance Audit/Review Schedule that aligns with the strategic objectives of the organization.
- Conduct privacy and compliance risk assessments and manage ongoing compliance auditing and monitoring efforts.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and various departments to ensure adherence to state and federal regulations regarding privacy and compliance.
- Deliver privacy and compliance education and training to all employees, volunteers, and relevant third parties.
- Promote awareness of information privacy and compliance throughout the organization.
- Participate in the creation and monitoring of business associate agreements to address privacy concerns and responsibilities.
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to address any allegations or complaints related to privacy and compliance policies.
- Stay informed about applicable federal and state privacy and compliance laws and accreditation standards.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance and HIPAA regulations.
- Experience in a mid to large corporation is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as CHC, CPA, CIA, JD, RHIA, or coding certification are preferred.
