Job Overview

Infosys is in search of a
Group Client Partner within its Banking & Financial Services sector. This role involves overseeing sales strategies and pipelines, assisting unit Business Development Managers (BDMs) by supplying resources and navigating accounts to uncover diverse deal opportunities, fostering internal alignment and prioritization, and actively pursuing larger proposal opportunities. The individual will also aid in the preparation and evaluation of proposals, as well as account plans developed by client partners, and provide support during escalations or as needed in account operations. The objective is to ensure account growth aligns with strategic plans by reviewing and positioning Infosys as a trusted partner within designated accounts. Typically, Group Client Partners manage a portfolio exceeding $100M+.

  • Client Relationship Management and Business Development: Cultivate client relationships, manage a portfolio of over $100M+, and oversee the opportunity management cycle: Prospect-Evaluate-Propose-Close.

Client Delivery Assurance:
Collaborate with all delivery stakeholders to ensure all commitments to the client are fulfilled.

Account Planning and Governance:
Develop the account plan, including necessary relationships, opportunities to pursue, pricing strategies, etc.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is required. Consideration will also be given to three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education, along with 16+ years of experience, emphasizing strong sales, relationship management, and account management skills.
  • Extensive business development and project management experience.
  • Experience in the relevant industry or vertical.
  • Proven track record of engaging and building relationships with C-level client contacts.
  • Hands-on experience in proposal creation and leading proposal presentations.
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Diverse experience in IT and business consulting engagements.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required; sponsorship for this position is not available.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA degree or foreign equivalent with 14+ years of experience.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific go-to-market solutions.
  • Strong understanding of industry-specific business challenges and drivers.
  • Experience with a Global Delivery Model.
  • Experience managing large, multi-location consulting engagement teams.
  • Demonstrated success as an Account Manager in a rapidly expanding client relationship.
