Position Summary


At Empower Pharmacy, we are reshaping healthcare through innovative medications, and we seek a dynamic Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships to join our mission-driven team.

As a pivotal leader, you will be instrumental in driving growth and enhancing our company's market presence.

This role is essential to our mission; your capacity to identify and pursue new business opportunities through partnerships, acquisitions, and market expansion will be vital to our success.

Your responsibilities will encompass leading and managing a team of Business Development Directors, guiding them to meet strategic goals across various sectors, including Men's Health, Women's Health, Longevity, IV Nutrition, International, and Telemedicine.

You will formulate and execute business development strategies, defining and implementing sales channels and go-to-market approaches.
At Empower Pharmacy, collaboration is paramount.

You will work closely with internal teams across Marketing, Product Development, and Operations to ensure our business development initiatives align seamlessly with our overarching company objectives.

Building and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers, will be central to your role as a representative of the company at customer meetings, industry events, and beyond.

Duties and Responsibilities

Focus on acquiring new clients and collaborating with account teams to expand market share within existing customer segments. Lead the 'land' aspect of our land and expand strategy.
Manage a team of Business Development Directors, providing guidance and support to achieve strategic objectives.

Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and enhance the company's market presence, including defining and executing sales channels and go-to-market strategies.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and market expansion.
Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Product Development, and Operations, to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
Analyze market trends and the competitive landscape to identify growth and development opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.
Act as a representative of the company in meetings with customers, partners, and at industry events.
Act with urgency to capitalize on market opportunities and drive results.
Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
Provide leadership and guidance to the business development team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
Oversee and evaluate team performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance to ensure both individual growth and team excellence.

Assess and navigate the evolving needs of the department, playing a pivotal role in recruiting and onboarding new talent, ensuring our team remains at the forefront of communication innovation.

Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in business development, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market share.

Experience managing a team of business development professionals, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.
Experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
