About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Property Manager to oversee a 460,000 sqft office portfolio located in South San Francisco. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the coordination and supervision of all aspects of property management, including personnel management, financial reporting, budget preparation, tenant relations, lease renewal negotiations/administration, construction management, negotiation of vendor contracts, and supervision of vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Support: Provide world-class client support and maintain good client relationships.
  • Bid Process: Assist with the bid process of contracted services.
  • Lease Summaries: Prepare lease summaries of new tenants.
  • Financial Reporting: Review monthly financial reports, annual budget, and operating expense escalations.
  • Rent Collection: Collect rent and handle minor accounts issues.
  • Tenant Relations: Manage client and tenant relations.
  • Correspondence: Draft correspondence on various matters pertaining to property management.
  • Maintenance: Monitor the maintenance work order system.
  • Reports: Review monthly reports and status of tenant complaints in all buildings.
  • Staff Management: Overview building staff (janitorial, engineering, parking, security).
  • Property Inspections: Conduct routine property inspections.
Desired Competency Experience and Skills
  • Education: Bachelor's level degree in Business or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of Commercial Real-Estate property management experience.
  • License: Must have a California Real Estate License.
  • Software Skills: Experience using JDE, Yardi, and Kardin accounting software preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office.
  • Location: Resident of San Francisco or within driving distance of property.
  • Personal Qualities: The successful candidate will be very detail-oriented, able to handle multiple projects at any given time, extremely professional, and customer service oriented. Self-motivation, leadership, teamwork, and collaboration are essential.
  • Conflict Resolution: Conflict management resolution skills are required.
  • Problem Solving: Detail-oriented, logical, and methodical approach to problem solving.
  • Communication: Written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
Work Environment

This position is 100% in-office. The role requires working in the office during standard business hours. Remote work or telecommuting is not an option for this position.
