Director of Property Management

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a seasoned Director of Property Management to oversee a substantial office portfolio. This role encompasses the comprehensive management of property operations, including but not limited to team leadership, financial oversight, budget formulation, tenant engagement, lease administration, construction oversight, vendor contract negotiations, and vendor supervision. Effective communication and fostering strong client relationships are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional client service
  • Facilitate the bidding process for contracted services
  • Compile lease summaries for new tenants
  • Analyze monthly financial statements, annual budgets, and operating expense adjustments
  • Manage rent collection and address minor account discrepancies
  • Oversee client and tenant interactions
  • Draft communications regarding various property management issues
  • Supervise the maintenance work order system
  • Review monthly reports and address tenant complaints across all properties
  • Manage building staff, including janitorial, engineering, parking, and security personnel
  • Conduct regular property inspections

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate property management
  • Possession of a California Real Estate License
  • Familiarity with JDE, Yardi, and Kardin accounting software is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office Suite
  • Must reside in or near the property location
  • The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, highly professional, and focused on customer service
  • Exhibit self-motivation, leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to resolve conflicts effectively
  • Logical and methodical approach to problem-solving
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Compensation Range:

$150,000—$165,000 USD
