Job Overview

We are a reputable local property management firm specializing in a varied portfolio of properties within the San Diego County region. We are currently seeking a dedicated Community Association Portfolio Supervisor to oversee a collection of small homeowners' associations (HOAs). The communities in this portfolio convene on a bimonthly, quarterly, or annual basis.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Handling all forms of communication, including phone calls, emails, letters, and packages.
  • Creating and maintaining records, databases, and spreadsheets.
  • Entering and monitoring work orders efficiently.
  • Addressing inquiries from tenants, homeowners, and property owners.
  • Organizing and maintaining files for all properties within the assigned portfolio.
  • Providing assistance to colleagues as needed.
  • Demonstrating proven experience in a community management role or similar position within the HOA sector.
  • Exhibiting exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possessing outstanding organizational abilities.
  • Having a strong command of MS Office and office management software; experience with Appfolio is a plus.
  • Ensuring reliable transportation is available for job duties.
Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a valid driver's license at all times.
  • Maintain valid automobile insurance consistently.
  • Present a professional appearance that aligns with the company's image, coupled with a positive attitude and self-management skills.
  • Pay close attention to detail.
  • Exhibit teamwork capabilities with a robust work ethic and the ability to engage with diverse personalities.
  • Effectively resolve issues involving residents, homeowners, board members, staff, finances, and emergencies while maintaining composure and professionalism.
  • Possess prior experience in HOA management, as this role involves overseeing a portfolio of associations.
  • This position is ideal for an assistant manager aspiring to advance to a portfolio manager role.
