About This Role

As a Maintenance Supervisor at Fairfield, you will play a critical role in ensuring the upkeep and appearance of our apartment communities. You will oversee the maintenance team, schedule and perform repairs, and provide exceptional customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Maintenance: Perform, schedule, and supervise maintenance repairs throughout the property, including scheduling and conducting preventative maintenance.
  • Operations: Use property management software to manage open service repair requests, create and manage a budget, and maintain an accurate inventory of maintenance items.
  • Team Management & Customer Service: Lead, motivate, and develop a successful property maintenance team, provide timely and constructive performance feedback, and deliver outstanding customer service to all residents.
Requirements
  • Three or more years' hands-on apartment or building maintenance experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair work.
  • HVAC-EPA (Type II) or EPA Universal certification is required.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend budgets, supervise, and motivate a team.
  • Experience with property management accounting software and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
