Job Summary

Grand Pacific Resorts is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Maintenance to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our properties, ensuring that they are safe, clean, and well-maintained for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all property facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Supervise and train a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure that maintenance operations are conducted in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping and guest services, to ensure that all aspects of property operations are running smoothly.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure that all safety protocols are in place and followed.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests and respond promptly to any maintenance-related issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing maintenance teams and budgets.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. facilities management, engineering) preferred.
