Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure all equipment and machinery are operating efficiently and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues when needed.
* Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime and ensure consistent production.
* Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards (OSHA, FDA, and USDA regulations) and implement safety procedures and protocols to reduce risks in the facility.
* Coordinate timely repair and replacement of machinery, focusing on minimizing production disruptions and ensuring spare parts inventory is maintained.
* Hire, train, and mentor maintenance staff, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
* Work with external contractors and equipment suppliers for specialized repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.
* Oversee the facility's utility systems (e.g., refrigeration, HVAC, boilers, etc.) to ensure optimal energy usage and compliance with environmental regulations.

Requirements:

* Minimum 5 years in a maintenance management role, preferably in a food manufacturing or dairy processing environment.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, with experience in dairy-specific equipment such as pasteurizers, homogenizers, and filling machines.
* Certified in maintenance planning (e.g., CMRP) or relevant technical certifications.
* Familiar with USDA, FDA, and HACCP regulations.
* Proven ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
* Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on safety and performance improvement.
