**Operations Manager**, **Supply Chain Director**

About the Role:
The **Operations Manager** will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our distribution, packaging, and transportation functions to ensure seamless execution and meet customer expectations. This role requires a strong leader who can drive continuous improvement, optimize processes, and foster a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Direct the operations team to achieve company objectives, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
- Strategic Planning: Evaluate overall operations and set short- and long-term goals aligned with organizational objectives, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Oversee warehousing, distribution, packaging, and transportation to ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements, minimizing risks and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Focus on enhancing value, service, effectiveness, and profitability through process improvements, technology adoption, and employee development.
- Leadership and Development: Direct budget and P&L for operations, develop staffing plans to optimize labor costs, overtime, and retention, and maximize quality and productivity by setting job standards, evaluating performance, and providing training as needed.
- Communication and Collaboration: Build strong relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to drive business results.
- Reporting and Analytics: Collect and analyze performance measurements, recommending efficiency improvements and providing insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field, with 10+ years of management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced 3PL, distribution, warehouse, and transportation environment.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to drive change, build high-performing teams, and foster a culture of excellence. Proficient in Microsoft Office, databases, WMS, and other metrics measurement tools. Strong presentation, writing, and speaking skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
