We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Senior Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Harbor Freight Tools. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a safe and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a great experience for our customers by answering questions, making recommendations, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Handle various sales transactions, including processing payments, handling returns, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
- Encourage customers to participate in company programs and promotions, and provide information on new products and services.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store environment by adhering to company standards and procedures.
- Cross-train in all areas of store operations, including stocking, sales associate duties, and responsibilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Preferred: 1 year experience in retail or customer service.
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers and associates.
- Open availability with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to intermittently lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds, and stand/move for entire shift.
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl, and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder.
- Physically able and willing to become certified to operate a forklift in accordance with company policies.
