Manufacturing Process Engineer

Position Overview
The Manufacturing Process Engineer within the Standardized Work Products team plays a crucial role in assisting the Program & Change Management teams by providing essential work products that are applicable across various programs and regions. The specifics of deliverables, timelines, and quality standards will be determined by the program team.
Key Responsibilities
- Development and implementation of Work Unit and associated Assets (Imagery)
- Oversee issue tracking systems (Reporting on Metrics)
- Assist program teams in resolving challenges (Work Units on Hold, rework, specification modifications)
- Support the Change Control Board by identifying tasks for the Standard Work Team & ensuring deployment
- Engage actively in Program Team Meetings
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Competencies
- Bachelor's Degree in GIS, geography, planning, computer science, information technology, or a related field, or a Bachelor's Degree in engineering with a focus on Production/Manufacturing
- A minimum of three years of professional experience in GIS mapping or Data Quality Management.
- Proficient in structured problem-solving methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with relational database concepts, including structured query language (SQL).
Work Environment
- Operates in a dynamic office setting with multiple priorities and competing demands.
- Standard office hours with potential for additional work during peak periods.
- May involve extended periods of data review on a computer.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with JIRA or similar task management tools
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Skilled in MS Office applications
- Knowledge of Value Stream Analysis
- Understanding of Lean Principles
