Job Overview

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Process Technician with 3 to 4 years of experience in the Interior Plastic Injection Molding sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing processes on the production floor, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as TS 16949 and ISO 14001-E.M.S.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct daily inspections on Process Verification Sheets and perform Machine Daily Rounds during the initial hours of the shift.
  2. Respond promptly to ANDON signals and implement corrective measures to maintain production efficiency.
  3. Review all documentation from Production Books and Kiosk stations, notifying the Shift Supervisor of any necessary replenishments.
  4. Document any required changes to the process on the Parameter Log Change form and communicate these to the Shift Supervisor.
  5. Adhere to established work instructions related to process monitoring, first piece approval, and mold changes.
  6. Collaborate with die setters, material handlers, and stock handlers during job start-ups to ensure clarity of roles.
  7. Verify that the product runs consistently for a minimum of 10 consecutive shots to meet F.P.A. standards.
  8. Manage responsibilities related to machine shutdowns, tooling, breakdowns, and preventive maintenance projects.
  9. Assume supervisory duties in the absence of the Shift Supervisor and support production floor activities.
  10. Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.
  11. Maintain knowledge of TS 16949 and adhere to the Quality Policy.
  12. Follow safety protocols, report safety issues, and ensure compliance with plant safety and 5S housekeeping standards.
Qualifications:

4 years of experience in process development and engineering is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
