This position is based in an office environment, providing direct support to individuals in need; it is not a remote role.

Proficiency in both English and Spanish is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Two years of experience in assessing client needs and understanding relevant policies and guidelines.
  • A combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.

Your Role:

As a Bilingual Human Services Eligibility Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting eligibility assessments, reviews, and updates for various assistance programs.
  • Identifying client needs and connecting them with appropriate resources.
  • Accurately documenting client information.

Working Environment:

  • Work is primarily conducted in an office setting with interactions at various program sites.
  • May involve engaging with clients in high-stress situations.
  • Position may require extended periods of time at a desk or on the phone.
  • This role is situated within the Self Sufficiency office.
