We are currently seeking a dedicated Employment Consultant to join our team in the Indianapolis, IN area.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Employment Consultant, you will:

  • Design and execute personalized employment plans to assist individuals with disabilities in securing and maintaining jobs within the community.
  • Engage with clients through both in-person and remote communication to gather essential information for employment services.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with local businesses to understand their hiring needs and promote inclusive employment practices.
  • Align the skills and strengths of underemployed or unemployed individuals with disabilities to meet employer expectations.
  • Provide support in interview preparation and facilitate transportation for clients as needed.
  • Collaborate with referring agencies to coordinate client evaluations and job placement strategies.
  • Oversee job coaches in their roles, ensuring effective job shadowing, assessments, and training for clients.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and fulfill all program requirements.
  • Recruit, mentor, and train new Employment Consultants and job coaches as part of our commitment to staff development.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a management or supervisory capacity within a business environment.
  • A college degree is preferred, along with experience working with individuals with disabilities.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
