Key Responsibilities:
The Supported Living Manager (SLM) is tasked with overseeing and managing the operations of Supported Living homes. This role includes supervising staff and ensuring a fulfilling daily experience for clients.

Essential Duties:
- Supervise, train, and mentor staff in compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as Benchmark Human Services policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop each client's Individual Support Plan (ISP) and Person Centered Plan (PCP).
- Engage in direct service delivery for clients.
- Maintain accurate documentation as required by Benchmark and regulatory standards, ensuring client files are up to date.
- Manage client budgets and assist in maintaining Medicaid eligibility through proper documentation and appointment scheduling.
- Communicate effectively with families, case managers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and various client-related meetings as necessary.
- Implement training programs as outlined in each client's ISP.
- Adhere to behavior support policies and implement approved behavior support strategies.
- Assist in the hiring and disciplinary processes for assigned staff.
- Ensure proper administration of medications and address clients' healthcare needs.
- Coordinate and accompany clients to medical appointments, ensuring follow-up care is completed.
- Plan and facilitate community-based recreational activities that are age-appropriate for clients.
- Implement required training protocols for both new and existing staff.
- Respond promptly to on-call situations as they arise.
- Report any suspected incidents of abuse, neglect, or exploitation to the appropriate authorities.
- Maintain all necessary employment documentation, certifications, and training as mandated by federal, state, and program requirements.
- Be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and standing or walking for extended periods.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- At least one year of supervisory experience is preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance are required.
- Completion of necessary training in areas such as interviewing, hiring, and employee relations is expected.
