Job SummaryThe Technical Proposal Writer will be responsible for leading the development and execution of proposal responses to prospective clients. This role involves strategic planning, project management, and collaboration with various teams to gather necessary information and craft thorough proposals.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the creation of RFQ proposals, coordinating with cross-functional departments.
- Develop and execute proposal responses to prospective clients with accurate information, high-quality branded design, and on-time delivery.
- Ensure proposals are compliant with requirements, complete, and compelling.
- Collaborate with various teams to gather necessary information and craft thorough proposals.
- Strong written English language skills.
- Ability to create new content from technical information supplied by the architects.
- Ability to edit content in various ways to suit each RFQ's target audience.
- Ability to write and edit content independently.
- Skilled at capturing approved content, organizing it, and warehousing it for quick retrieval repetitively.
- Strong graphic design skills.
- Ability to visualize imagery needed; ability to create it, and solicit graphic designers' assistance and feedback.
- Ability to gather and organize a large quantity of graphic designed visual elements for quick retrieval repetitively.
- Expert in Adobe InDesign, Acrobat, MS Excel, MS Word; able to learn and navigate other databases.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related area of study preferred.
- Experience producing proposals, company brochures, company qualifications presentations, or similar.
- Experience planning, scheduling, and managing self and others to produce graphic deliverables accurately and on time.
- Experience writing, creating, and editing content for audiences.
The Technical Proposal Writer will report to the Director of Business Development.
Professional DevelopmentParticipate in seminars, conventions, and organizations relevant to marketing to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices and techniques.
