Job Title: Business Process Optimization Manager

At Royal Caribbean Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Process Optimization Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Marine Technical Operations team, you will play a critical role in driving strategic initiatives that enhance the performance of our global operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of forward-thinking, multi-year strategies that fuel growth and optimize cost management across Marine Technical Operations.
  • Spearhead initiatives, streamline processes, enhance performance, and continuously improve the fleet's success.
  • Analyze and change existing business and operational processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process optimization strategies together with key stakeholders in Marine Technical Operations that align with organizational goals.
  • Utilize data analysis and process mapping tools to visualize workflows and identify bottlenecks.
  • Design and document optimized processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on the ships and shoreside on new processes and best practices.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of implemented changes through key performance indicators (KPIs) and leading indicators across Marine Technical Operations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in process optimization and business analysis.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, finance, marketing, engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in a business management role, ideally in the travel or leisure industry.
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams, with a track record of driving successful initiatives and managing complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) and proficiency in process mapping and analysis tools.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels across global teams.
  • Ability to think critically, identify root causes, and provide practical solutions in dynamic, high-pressure environments.
  • Highly adaptable, taking initiative to solve problems and improve processes while thriving in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
