POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Work schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Full-time position (40 hours/week)
  • First shift (7:30 am - 4:00 pm)
  • Work environment: Office/On-site

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The primary responsibility of this position is to safely operate and maintain the specified equipment as outlined in this job posting.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidates must possess a current and valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tank endorsement, as indicated in the "Licenses and Professional Certifications" section of the application.
  • Applicants invited for an interview must present a copy of their valid CDL Class A or B, reflecting the tank endorsement, along with a valid Medical Examiner's Card (MEC) at the time of the interview.
  • All candidates must bring a copy of their Master Application to the interview.
  • Applicants must demonstrate how they meet the required knowledge and experience on their application to proceed in the hiring process.
  • Incumbents must be prepared to accept emergency assignments, including snow and ice removal, as needed, which may involve mandatory winter overtime.
  • The agency will conduct a practical evaluation for the Transportation Maintainer 4 position to assess applicants' skills and qualifications.
  • Eligible candidates will be required to undergo an interview prior to the skill evaluation.
  • Residency Requirement: Candidates must reside within a 25-mile radius of the job location.
