Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Controls Engineering Specialist to join our team, focusing on power generation systems. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to advance their career within a reputable organization.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Controls Engineering Specialist, you will:
1. Collaborate directly with clients and engineering teams to create and implement solutions that meet user objectives in the development of megawatt units.
2. Design and modify existing PLC and HMI applications, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
3. Take ownership of the setup and commissioning of new facilities, as well as the enhancement of existing systems.
4. Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions, providing recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and quality.
5. Document specifications and operational procedures meticulously.
6. Work collaboratively with customers, test operations, and design teams to maintain software and hardware configurations and ensure facility testing schedules are met.
7. Develop and maintain software configuration files, test scripts, and LabVIEW console GUIs.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in controls engineering, specifically with power systems.
- Proficiency in PLC and HMI technologies.
- Familiarity with Woodward control systems and components.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- A commitment to professional growth and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
- Experience in ATO programming for PLC systems or Protective Relays.
- The ability to interpret power system studies and design electrical distribution systems.
