Job Title: Associate Director, Retail Media Managed Services

The Associate Director, Retail Media Managed Services will be a strategic leader focused on establishing and leading a newly built managed service offering and team in support of TradeSchool Inc's retail media network. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to the development of an industry-leading retail media network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee TradeSchool Inc's Managed Service department initiatives, including direct reports and team management.
  • Ensure alignment with overall business objectives, while driving cross-functional collaboration between agency and client direct.
  • Lead the team to achieve revenue targets through effective media buying & planning, setting sales goals, analyzing data, and crafting strategic upsell opportunities.
  • Refine media buying Q&A process as new technology is introduced with retail media buying.
  • Manage and plan pipeline to reach revenue goals while effectively reporting on revenue expectations to agency and client.
  • Drive long-term account strategy for TradeSchool Inc's Managed Service team with the ability to flex in addressing strategic and tactical needs to drive positive business outcomes.
  • Influence clients' sales strategy by collaborating with key stakeholders to craft scalable, strategic selling opportunities to increase revenue.
  • Identify strategic project opportunities for TS Managed Services team to instill thought leadership across the agency and to clients.
  • Integrate cross-functionally across the agency to support strategic initiatives relevant to retail media business needs (such as Sales Enablement, Product Marketing, New Product Development, etc.).
Qualifications:
  • 8-10+ years of experience in media sales, media strategy/buying, and/or retail media.
  • Knowledgeable of Retail Media Networks and marketplace positioning.
  • Forward-thinking with the ability to adapt to both media strategy and team leadership.
  • Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • A strong background in sales & account management with the ability to flex into sales operations.
  • Track record of operational and financial excellence when managing your book of business (i.e., forecasting accuracy).
  • Experience in managing teams, demonstrates leading and inspiring others.
  • Comfortable working in complex and rapidly changing environments.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, highly collaborative working style.
  • Working knowledge of Digital Media platforms (Display, Streaming, Native, Social), Google, Meta, Pinterest, various DSPs, and self-serve retail media platforms.
