Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Interconnected Strategy team at Home Depot. As a key leader on this team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our overall interconnected and online business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Analysis and Partnerships: Analyze business strategies and identify potential strategic partnerships and opportunities with outside firms. Develop objectives based on a thorough understanding of the business and communicate results.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Identify changes in the competitive landscape and communicate these changes to management on a regular basis. Develop counter initiatives, manage deliverables and timeline, and communicate status and results. Develop quarterly reporting on the Company's market share gains and losses.
  • Capital Strategy and Management: Work cross-functionally to develop initial capital estimates for strategic initiatives. Proactively monitor capital spend of strategic initiatives and report on results. Work with the.com and IT Finance teams to establish routine monthly reporting and communicate these updates with the online leadership team.
Requirements:
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous work experience in world-class retail or ecommerce or in professional services supporting such retail or ecommerce businesses.
  • MBA or Masters degree.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Broad exposure to Tech-Media-Telecom sector.
  • Strong skills in quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis, and strategic problem-solving.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage cross-functionally.
  • High degree of drive and personal ownership.
  • Comfort with framing and addressing ambiguous challenges.
  • High degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
