Role Overview:The primary objective of this position is to strategically oversee and grow the assigned region by effectively marketing, selling, and supporting Permobil's sophisticated rehabilitation and assistive technology products, thereby achieving substantial business and financial outcomes.
Key Duties:- Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with organizational objectives to generate significant business results. Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with both internal teams and external clients, identifying their needs and providing customized solutions to drive demand.
- Demo Inventory Oversight: Manage the demo inventory across various referral and customer sites within the region, ensuring the availability, proper utilization, and optimal distribution of demo units to support sales goals.
- Sales Performance Analysis: Regularly assess sales trends within the region, produce reports, and strategize sales activities based on insights to meet or surpass sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain ongoing communication with existing clients to enhance relationships, ensure satisfaction, and implement innovative marketing initiatives for business expansion.
- Prospective Client Engagement: Identify and engage potential clients, employing creative strategies to convert them into Permobil customers.
- Market and Product Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, products, technologies, and competitors to refine sales strategies.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure thorough understanding and application of company policies and procedures within the region, including vehicle usage policies.
- Event Representation: Represent the organization at trade shows and relevant meetings as required.
- Collaborative Sales Support: Utilize approved sales materials for promotional activities and work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve regional objectives.
- Administrative Responsibilities: Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all administrative tasks and documentation.
A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Technical Discipline, or a related field is preferred. An ATP, OT, or PT license is a plus.
Essential Skills:Previous experience in the medical device sector, particularly in complex rehabilitation or assistive technology. Strong analytical abilities, a customer-focused mindset, expertise in business planning, and outstanding interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
Experience Required:A minimum of 3 years of field sales experience, ideally within the complex rehabilitation or assistive technology sector. Previous experience in sales management or related fields is advantageous.
