Texas Health Action (THA) is a dedicated non-profit organization focused on delivering high-quality health services in a secure environment, prioritizing LGBTQIA+ individuals and those affected by HIV. With programs such as Kind Clinic, Waterloo Counseling Center, and TeleKind, THA is expanding and seeking a proficient leader to manage administrative functions encompassing human resources, compliance, provider credentialing, corporate governance, and facilities management.

Position Overview: Reporting directly to the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, the Senior Vice President of Administration will offer strategic direction and operational management to improve efficiency, mitigate risks, and create a robust administrative framework that aligns with the organization's objectives.

Remote Work Policy: While remote work is permitted, candidates must be based in Texas and will be required to attend on-site meetings at the Austin headquarters.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Leadership in Human Resources: Direct all HR activities, including talent acquisition, compensation strategies, and nurturing a positive workplace culture that reflects the organization's values.
  • Risk Management & Compliance: Develop and implement effective risk management and compliance initiatives to ensure full adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Management of Facilities: Oversee facility planning, maintenance, and procurement to ensure optimal operational functionality.
  • Credentialing of Providers: Guarantee that all providers possess the necessary licenses and qualifications through effective oversight of credentialing processes.
  • Corporate Governance & Board Relations: Act as a liaison to the Board of Directors, maintaining governance documentation and ensuring compliance with governance standards.
  • Strategic Leadership: Cultivate and mentor a high-performing administrative team, manage resources effectively, and provide counsel to senior leadership on administrative strategies.

Compensation Package: The annual salary range for this position is between $115,000 and $130,000, with performance-based incentives available depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in HR and compliance is essential.
  • Proficiency in employment law, credentialing standards, and healthcare regulations is necessary.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are required.
