Position Overview:

The Senior Vice President of Branch Operations is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive management and coordination of branch activities across a designated region. This role entails developing, assessing, and recommending objectives, policies, and procedures to align with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and coordinate all branch operations for assigned districts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Evaluate branch performance through analysis of activity statistics and reports, providing insights to senior leadership.
  • Guide and mentor District Managers and Branch Managers to achieve sales and profitability targets.
  • Develop proactive strategies to navigate the evolving legal and economic landscape.
  • Represent the organization at community and civic events to enhance corporate image and foster business development.
  • Facilitate regular communication through staff meetings to support branch personnel.
  • Address customer service issues, ensuring high service standards are consistently met.
  • Collaborate with legal and regulatory bodies for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Manage departmental budgets, reviewing and approving amendments as necessary.
  • Oversee personnel actions and compensation plans, ensuring alignment with company policies.
  • Conduct semi-annual operational reviews of branches to assess customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Lead change management initiatives in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Provide training on best practices and policy updates to branch staff.
  • Drive initiatives that extend beyond branch operations, fostering a culture aligned with company values.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of nine years of relevant experience in the Consumer Lending or Financial Services sector, with a proven track record in leadership roles.
  • At least six years of managerial experience, demonstrating proficiency in budget management and operational oversight.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial services software.
  • Ability to influence company-wide lending and collections strategies.
  • Experience in developing and mentoring team members for career growth.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a District Manager or AVP within Mariner Finance or its affiliates.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to perform essential job functions, including sitting for extended periods and occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
