Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage departmental budgets in collaboration with the CFO, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
- Implement and assess business processes and procedures to guarantee operational efficiency.
- Oversee daily operational activities, providing direction to senior leadership and ensuring seamless operations.
- Formulate and endorse comprehensive strategies and business plans.
- Manage support staff, including recruitment, training, performance assessment, and employee development in partnership with Human Resources.
- Monitor team and individual performance, establish clear expectations, and inspire team members by acknowledging high performance.
- Foster an open communication culture, conduct regular team meetings, and relay departmental updates.
- Facilitate the smooth flow of reporting to the CEO and organizational board.
- Identify and integrate new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and supervise disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
- Monitor revenue margins and employee productivity, providing recommendations for enhancements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in business operations; MBA preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in business operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or director role.
- Proven experience in managing human and financial resources.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Extensive experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
- Adaptable to the needs of the organization and its employees, with a drive to embrace new challenges and pursue continuous learning.
- Resourceful problem solver with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
- Experience in negotiating multi-million dollar contracts and service agreements.
- Ability to engage with senior management, board members, VIPs, and external vendors.
- Experience supporting executives, boards, and committees is preferred.
- Willingness to travel for organizational events and meetings.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
Compensation:
$180,000-200,000+ DOE
