Position Overview

The Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Century Communities plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and strategic direction within the organization. This position collaborates closely with the Division President, Vice President of Operations, and other senior leaders to enhance market presence and achieve ambitious sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies tailored for the local division.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
  • Design and implement incentive programs and pricing models for various communities.
  • Oversee the negotiation of sales contracts and provide regular sales performance updates to the Division President.
  • Partner with the Corporate Marketing team to roll out community promotions, including events and media outreach.
  • Manage and analyze traffic and sales reports to optimize performance.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key companies to create preferred buyer arrangements.
  • Evaluate traffic metrics and recommend strategies for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Operations and Project Managers to ensure timely project completion and address any construction-related issues.
  • Conduct weekly reviews of sales backlog to ensure projected closings are met, addressing any lender or contingency challenges.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of competitive products, incentives, and promotional activities.
  • Oversee the startup process for new communities.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Division President.

Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in developing and executing sales strategies, marketing initiatives, and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a polished executive presence.
  • A dynamic leadership style that motivates teams to exceed sales goals.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading effective sales teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and legal documents.
  • Experience in addressing inquiries and resolving issues from customers and regulatory bodies.
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with clients, partners, and team members.
  • Proficient in mathematical calculations relevant to sales and finance.
  • Familiarity with algebraic and geometric concepts.

Education and Experience:

  • At least 8 years of successful experience in Sales Management within a competitive environment.
  • Previous experience in new home sales is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required.
