Kinetic Staffing is a prominent national membership organization in search of a Vice President of Operations to lead the management and daily functions of a nonprofit's revenue-generating initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in operational management, a strong history of strategic leadership, and the capability to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

The successful applicant will be responsible for formulating and executing strategic plans, managing financial resources, and supervising various departments, including Membership, Human Resources, Publications, and others to ensure smooth operations. Exceptional analytical skills, robust financial acumen, and the ability to guide diverse teams are essential for this position. With a commitment to prioritizing client and member needs, the Vice President of Operations will continuously explore avenues to boost revenue and refine operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee departmental budgets in collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
  • Implement and assess business processes and protocols to guarantee operational efficiency.
  • Supervise daily business functions, providing direction to senior leadership and ensuring seamless operations.
  • Formulate and endorse comprehensive strategies and business plans.
  • Manage support personnel, including recruitment, training, performance assessment, and employee development in partnership with Human Resources.
  • Monitor team and individual performance, establish clear expectations, and inspire team members by acknowledging high performance.
  • Foster an open communication culture, conduct regular team meetings, and disseminate departmental updates.
  • Facilitate the smooth flow of reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and organizational board.
  • Identify and implement innovative technologies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and manage disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
  • Monitor revenue margins and employee productivity, providing recommendations for enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business operations; MBA preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in business operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or director role.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing human and financial resources.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • Adaptable to the needs of the organization and employees, with a motivation to embrace new challenges and pursue continuous learning.
  • Resourceful problem solver with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Experience negotiating multi-million dollar contracts and service agreements.
  • Ability to engage with senior management, board members, VIPs, and external vendors.
  • Experience supporting executives, boards, and committees preferred.
  • Willingness to travel for organizational events and meetings.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.

Compensation:

$180,000-200,000+ DOE
