Event Planning Specialist

Job Overview

The Event Planning Specialist will play a crucial role in managing numerous requests through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions, to secure our highly desirable private dining spaces. Exceptional client relationship skills, experience in event sales, and practical knowledge of day-of event management are essential. A passion for local craft beer and a solid understanding of the industry is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate closely with the General Manager and Restaurant Managers to successfully book and execute private events for both small and large gatherings.
  2. Maintain and manage the Gather software database for event inquiries.
  3. Respond promptly to new inquiries.
  4. Develop a comprehensive private event reservation process and fee structure, informed by local market standards.
  5. Coordinate with the Executive Chef to create Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and design menus for large groups.
  6. Oversee not only private events but also larger parties within the restaurant.
  7. Communicate clearly and efficiently regarding deposits, fees, cancellations, and day-of event policies.
  8. Provide weekly reports on sales, deposits, and calendar updates to the relevant departments.
  9. Establish relationships with local businesses through targeted marketing efforts.
  10. Foster connections to maintain and expand recurring tasting room programs, such as bocce ball, corn hole, paint nights, and trivia events.

Required: 2-5 years of previous experience as an event coordinator.
