Position Overview
The MDS Coordinator - RN is accountable for the prompt and precise completion of the MDS treatment assessment tool, alongside the evaluation of care plans and their execution, focusing on individual patient/resident factors such as physical, cognitive, and social aspects to ensure adherence to our exceptional care standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire process and monitoring of all Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documentation to guarantee suitable reimbursement for services rendered within the nursing facility.
  • Conduct concurrent MDS assessments to ensure attainment of maximum allowable RUG categories.
  • Integrate insights from nursing, dietary, social services, restorative, rehabilitation, and physician services to secure appropriate reimbursement.

Qualifications:
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure. LPNs with MDS experience may be considered.
  • At least one year of long-term care nursing experience is required.

  • Pay Target: $84,000 - $87,000 per year
