Contribute to our mission of making our workplace exceptional.Key Responsibilities of the Team Leadership Coordinator: To serve as a liaison between clients and the auto claims team; manage and address escalations effectively, lead and educate during client meetings, prepare team members for claim evaluations, oversee team workloads, provide training, and monitor individual claim activities; offer technical and jurisdictional guidance on claims adjudication.
Essential Functions
- Identify and communicate trends, challenges, and issues to management, along with recommended actions; suggest new procedures and ideas for ongoing process enhancement; collaborate with management on office projects.
- Provide technical and jurisdictional guidance on claims adjudication.
- Compile, review, and analyze management reports, taking necessary actions.
- Conduct quality reviews on claims to ensure compliance with audit standards, service contracts, and quality benchmarks.
- Act as a secondary level of appeal for client and claimant concerns regarding specific claims, procedures, or special requests; implement final resolutions for appeals.
- Maintain communication with clients regarding claims, fostering professional relationships; provide recommendations based on claim status; and prepare written summaries of specific claims as requested.
- Ensure accurate coding of claims files and proper documentation by claims examiners.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Support the organization's quality initiatives.
Supervisory Duties
- Administer company personnel policies and adhere to staffing standards and training recommendations.
- Conduct interviews, hire staff, and establish performance development plans; facilitate performance discussions.
- Provide support, guidance, leadership, and motivation to enhance performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred.
- Licensing: Licenses as required.
- Experience: Minimum of six (6) years in claims management or a comparable combination of education and experience, including two (2) years in a supervisory role.
- Skills & Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of claims management processes across various product lines; exceptional oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities; proficient in Microsoft Office; strong leadership, motivational, analytical, and organizational skills; excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills; ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment and meet performance standards.
Work Environment
- Mental: Requires clear and conceptual thinking, excellent judgment, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage work-related stress and multiple priorities.
- Physical: Involves computer keyboarding and travel as necessary.
- Auditory/Visual: Requires hearing, vision, and verbal communication.
