Financial Crime Compliance Analyst

Our client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking a dedicated professional to join their Anti-Money Laundering (AML) team.
They operate across various sectors, including institutional and corporate banking, wealth management, private client services, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.
Compensation:
$23.25 per hour
Position Duration:
12 months
Remote Work:
This position is remote, with training conducted online and one day in-office training required.
Key Responsibilities:
The AML Operations Representative I is responsible for providing comprehensive AML operational support. This includes conducting specialized activities to detect money laundering, reviewing transactions, and managing various processing tasks within the AML Operations framework.
The role involves working within established guidelines and is accountable for executing a range of transactions or activities that may involve multiple steps across several systems or applications.
Responsibilities require a solid understanding of processes relevant to the area of expertise, which may be characterized by low to moderate risk. The representative will take a broad approach to identify and resolve atypical issues that may not be covered by existing procedures, typically interacting with internal stakeholders.
The focus is on completing daily or weekly tasks, which may also include routine monthly activities. The representative will perform duties with a limited degree of supervision and must possess full proficiency gained through job-related training.
Additionally, the representative should have a working knowledge of the business unit's operational functions and the regulatory requirements pertinent to the jurisdictions supported.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Financial Institution Analyst (audit)
