As a Senior Operations Supervisor within the Corporate & Institutional Banking Group, you will play a crucial role in operational management.

In this vital position, you will oversee production, manage supervisors and team leaders, ensure compliance, monitor supplies, and supervise daily team activities. You will hold the team accountable for operational objectives and report results to management, adhere to established processes and procedures, utilize operational tools, and work closely with your teams and senior management to implement operational enhancements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the formulation of the operations strategy. Implement the operational plan and communicate the strategy to the operations team. Responsible for multiple functions across various sites or managing a complex product or location. Supervise managers, supervisors, and/or individual contributors.
  • Ensure the achievement of desired business outcomes. Act as a senior escalation point and resolve exceptions and complex process and product support issues. Review and oversee end-to-end processes of varying risk and financial value. May engage with clients and/or third parties to drive business results and resolve escalated concerns.
  • Manage all human resources-related activities for direct and indirect reports while maintaining employee engagement. Provide coaching and development opportunities for team members, supervisors, and/or managers. Lead team meetings, communicate strategy, and translate it into actionable operational plans.
  • Offer consultation and advice to service partners and clients. Identify and influence strategic improvement initiatives and serve as a representative or project sponsor for the operations group on various projects. Develop, review, and/or approve standard operating procedures as necessary. Recommend and/or drive policy enhancements.
  • Oversee and/or own the control framework for assigned units. Review reports and/or key risk indicators to identify exceptions, monitor quality, and ensure effective quality risk management. Manage and be accountable for risk mitigation and business resiliency strategies. May review transactions and related documentation. Verify work processes to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to established service levels, departmental controls, risk tolerance, and applicable procedures.
