Our hospice department is seeking a dedicated administrative professional to enhance our operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Hospice Program Director with various administrative tasks to ensure compliance with hospice regulations.
  • Coordinate with clinical personnel to facilitate the delivery and collection of durable medical equipment for patients.
  • Update and communicate patient schedule changes to relevant staff members, including aides and clinicians.
  • Manage incoming communications related to the hospice department, addressing inquiries from patients, vendors, and the accounting team.
  • Maintain accurate records for hospice services and support data entry for billing and clinical documentation.
  • Organize and schedule in-person meetings with the hospice Medical Director under the guidance of the Hospice Program Director.
  • Assist in coordinating patient transfers and transportation needs as directed.
  • Provide administrative support to colleagues, including answering phones, filing, and covering for staff on leave.
  • Support the acquisition of insurance information and authorization processes as needed.
Qualifications

  • Preferred background in business or administrative roles.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills are essential.
  • Completion of mandated educational requirements upon hiring.
  • Physical requirements include moderate walking, bending, and extended periods of sitting, with occasional light lifting.
