Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to enhance our patient care team. This full-time role requires availability Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 5 PM, with potential flexibility to assist at various local practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage appointment scheduling and triage requests based on urgency, adhering to ProHealth's established guidelines.
- Collaborate with medical assistants or licensed clinicians for clinical decision-making as needed.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for effective communication and message handling.
- Welcome patients and oversee the check-in process.
- Monitor reminder call logs and reschedule appointments as necessary.
- Ensure all relevant documents and lab results are prepared prior to patient visits.
- Process payment batches at the end of each shift, ensuring compliance with cash control procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OSHA regulations and ProHealth policies.
- Support colleagues to ensure seamless office operations and exceptional service delivery.

Qualifications:
- Required: High School Diploma or GED; 1+ years of receptionist experience; intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to travel within a designated territory.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a healthcare setting; familiarity with electronic health records.

Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $16.00 to $28.27, influenced by factors such as local labor markets and individual qualifications. UnitedHealth Group is committed to complying with all applicable wage laws.
