- Insurance Coordination: Conduct insurance verification and authorization for new admissions and readmissions.
- Electronic Records: Input resident demographic data into the electronic medical record system.
- Clinical Updates: Provide timely clinical updates to third-party case managers to facilitate ongoing insurance authorization.
- Documentation Collaboration: Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to gather necessary documentation for admissions.
- Liaison Role: Act as a liaison between discharging facilities and our organization to support census stability and growth.
- Equipment Preparation: Ensure that all necessary equipment is obtained and that care staff are trained in new care techniques prior to patient admission.

- Provide feedback on staff performance to the Clinical Nursing Director.
Fiscal Responsibility:
- Manage unit resources effectively to meet budgetary goals while ensuring quality care.
Communication Strategy:

Quality Assurance Participation:

Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (LPN or RN).
- Current unrestricted RN/LPN license in the relevant state.
- Three to five years of clinical experience, including supervisory experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong observation, communication, administrative, leadership, and supervisory skills.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role.
