We are seeking an experienced Front Office/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $42,000 per year.

Job Overview:

The Front Office/Administrative Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice by providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, as well as performing various administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling incoming phone calls.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key areas:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, responding to their queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Managing patient records with the highest level of accuracy and confidentiality, ensuring all necessary documents are completed accurately.
  • Handling incoming phone calls in a timely and professional manner, answering, screening, and forwarding as needed.
  • Scheduling appointments and confirming patient information with high accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensuring the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times, receiving, sorting, and distributing daily mail and deliveries.
  • Inputting patient data accurately and efficiently into our system, maintaining the highest level of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Providing support to other staff members as needed, collaborating effectively to achieve common goals.
  • Maintaining the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times, adhering to HIPAA requirements and internal confidentiality policies.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience:

Qualifications/Experience:

A minimum of 1 year of proven work experience as a medical front office receptionist, with a strong focus on customer service.Hands-on experience with office equipment, including fax machines, copiers, and iPads, with a focus on efficient use and maintenance.A professional attitude and appearance at all times, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.Strong multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations quickly.Demonstrated experience of delivering excellent customer service, with a focus on patient satisfaction.Collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and staff to achieve common goals.Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to maintain composure under pressure.A strong desire to provide the best possible patient experience, with a focus on delivering exceptional care and service.Operates with the highest level of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality at all times.
