Position Summary:

This role is crucial for maintaining the quality of our products by implementing inspection and testing protocols for electrical components, subassemblies, and completed assemblies, which can range from compact control cabinets to large-scale modular buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular inspections of all electrical installations, subassemblies, and finished products.
  • Assist in the preparation of testing and commissioning documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with approved standards and technical drawings.
  • Document any material non-conformances identified during inspections of ongoing work, finished products, or incoming inspections.
  • Verify that all equipment is within the current calibration period and functioning correctly prior to use.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Willingness to undergo background and drug testing.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and decision-making capabilities.
  • Physical ability to lift, lower, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Capability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
  • Frequent use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in electrical assembly or inspection is necessary.
  • Prior experience with low voltage electrical installations, including power distribution, UPS systems, and protective devices.
  • Familiarity with IEC, NEC, and NFPA electrical quality standards and practices.
  • Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers is advantageous.
  • Ability to identify electrical components, hardware, and equipment.
  • Proficiency in reading, understanding, and tracing electrical schematics; troubleshooting skills are essential.
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with Word and Excel; knowledge of scheduling software is a plus.

Compensation Details:

The compensation for this position ranges from $20 to $23 per hour, with Restricted Stock Units included in all offers. Compensation will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
