Role Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for ensuring the quality of products through the implementation of inspection and testing protocols for electrical components, subassemblies, and finished goods, which may include small control cabinets and large modular buildings.

Daily Tasks Include:

  • Conducting ongoing inspections of all electrical installations, subassemblies, and finished products.
  • Auditing processes related to electrical assembly, control wiring, power distribution wiring, and commercial wiring installations.
  • Assisting in the preparation of testing and commissioning documentation.
  • Documenting quality standards and specifications for electrical installations and assemblies, while collaborating with quality management to standardize and train personnel.
  • Ensuring compliance with approved standards and drawings in all work executed.
  • Recording material non-conformances identified during inspections of work in progress, finished goods, and receiving inspections.
  • Working with safety, engineering, and manufacturing teams to enhance design for manufacturing, aiming to minimize waste, manufacturing delays, and improve the overall functionality of the final product.
  • Verifying that product designs adhere to regulatory, commercial codes, customer specifications, engineering standards, and company policies.
  • Assisting in the execution of the tool calibration program, focusing on electrical test equipment to ensure all items are calibrated and functioning correctly before use.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Willingness to undergo background and drug testing.
  • Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High-level analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Physical capability to lift, lower, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
  • Experience as a Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of 5 years in the field, or 7 years in electrical assembly/inspection.
  • Familiarity with Low and Medium voltage electrical installations, including switchgear, power distribution, UPS, and protection devices.
  • Knowledge of IEC, NEC, NFPA, and IEEE electrical quality standards and NETA testing specifications.
  • Understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers, VFDs, HMI, MCC, and UPS systems.
  • Ability to identify electrical components and read electrical schematics, with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, particularly with Word and Excel; knowledge of scheduling software is a plus.

Compensation Details:

The compensation for this role ranges from $25 to $28 per hour, with Restricted Stock Units included in all offers. Compensation will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market alignment.
